Convert between major currencies

The Currency Converter provides real-time exchange rate conversions between 10 major world currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, CHF, CNY, INR, and MXN. Exchange rates are sourced from the European Central Bank via the Frankfurter API and updated daily.

Whether you are planning an international trip, comparing prices on foreign websites, sending money abroad, or managing multi-currency business expenses, this tool gives you an instant, reliable conversion without needing to visit a financial site or do manual math.

The converter shows the current rate between your selected currencies so you can see exactly how much one unit of the source currency is worth in the target currency. An example conversion is displayed automatically when the input is empty, so you can quickly gauge the exchange rate at a glance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often are exchange rates updated?

Rates are sourced from the European Central Bank and are typically updated once per business day. Weekend and holiday rates reflect the last available business day rate.

Are these rates the same as what banks charge?

These are mid-market (interbank) rates for informational purposes. Banks, credit cards, and money transfer services add their own markup, so the rate you receive in practice will differ.

Can I convert cryptocurrencies?

This tool currently supports traditional fiat currencies only. Cryptocurrency conversion requires a different data source.

What if the rate shows as a dash?

A dash means the rate could not be fetched, usually due to a network issue. Refresh the page or check your internet connection and try again.
